Truth can be dreams: April 2006

Here is a list of the things I am thinking about or doing
- still recouping from my trip
- trying to remember the dances
- creating an arts program for the siloam mission (this is very exciting and fun)
- how much I love my family, I missed them when I was away

Do you want to know what I have been thinking about quite a bit the past week? It's a little crazy but I've been thinking about a hair straightener. When I was at Sheri's I used her straightener one day and it was so amazing. It usually takes me about 20-30mins or longer to do my hair but using her straightener took about 5 minutes! So now I am constantly thinking about how different it would be to have a straightener like that. It cost her about 150.00 which means I won't have the pleasure of owning one for a few years. But I am really looking forward to it ;)

Here are some more pictures. Most are views of the Loft. Enjoy!

AMAZING!

I got back from California Saturday afternoon tired and hungry but excited and happy. I had such a great time with Sheri, Ruth, Crystal, and a bunch of other people. I am still recuperating from the lack of sleep and too much Mexican food. Today I am finally feeling a bit like myself again. I really don't think I can blog about my trip. There's really just too much to say so I will post some pictures instead. I will say that throughout the trip I kept thinking how awesome it was to be there and how thankful I was. What a totally cool experience!

In the awesome bathroom at the SIR studio in Hollywood. It was a very nice bathroom but very hot. We all looked fantastic in the mirror.

I keep trying to up date but I don't seem to have the time to really organize my thoughts enough to write them down. I probably won't update until I get back next weekend. I've noticed that most of the blogs I read haven't been updated in a while. I wonder if it has something to do with the weather? It's so awesome outside. I still can't believe that it's not winter anymore....Thank goodness.

It's so crazy how week to week things can change so drastically. Finances for instance. We got our tax return paid a whack load of bills (including a speeding ticket from about a year ago) and then bam it's gone. Thank goodness for GST which should be coming sometime this week.

My Dad was just here visiting. He flew in on Saturday morning and flew out Sunday evening. We went and saw the vinyl Cafe (Stuart McLean). If you have no idea what I'm talking about then you need to listen to CBC radio a little more often! It was such a great show. I laughed so hard it was great. There was some really awesome music too. It was fun to have Grampie come and hang out for a bit. When he was leaving Silver wouldn't say goodbye because he said he was going to miss Grampie. It was cute and also frustrating. It was a great weekend!

This week is not very fun. Ryan is away quite a bit finishing up his teaching days at the elementary school. That's all for now folks.
