Super unknown

I have been feeling very blessed these days. Even with the health issues I am dealing with (which compared to some are so minor), life is great!

Life is so uncertain. That's what I am seeing. I mean I'm not an idiot I'm not just getting that now. It is something I think that most people in North America learn around the teen years. I just feel like I am getting a little refresher course on the reality of the uncertainness of our existence on this earth.

What can I look at in my life and say "For certain this will happen, or that will take place"? NOTHING. Except for my faith in Jesus. I trust that for certain, no matter what happens to me on this earth I will see him and live in a much better place after death. With no more tears, sorrow, or pain.

Concerning my faith in Jesus, when I die if I found out that Jesus was not real and everything I had believed in was false I still wouldn't change a thing about how I lived on this earth. I have lived here without faith and trust in Jesus, and it was ruff. Now Iam living with that trust in him, and it's ruff as well but there is this peace that comes over me at times that reminds me that I am not in control and that's o.k. Because I can't do it on my own.

Here are some picture of my family. I just wanted to end this with images of my blessings.

death

the death toll is up to 40,000. They are saying it will get much higher. If they can not get food and clean water to the people there more will die.

Do what you can, send money any way you can. Lets help our fellow humans.

Tragic

This is a copy of an email we recieved from World Vision. Send them money.

As Canadian families celebrated together, a series of massive earthquakes struck the countries of Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. The largest quake, which registered a shocking 8.9 in magnitude, was the fifth largest earthquake in history. The quakes caused a series of tsunamis (tidal waves).
More than 11,000 people are reported dead and up to 2 million people are homeless. Waves more than ten meters high completely destroyed homes and roads. Officials fear that hundreds of people have been swept out to sea. Your help is urgently needed. Click here to help rush emergency supplies to the
victims of this crisis

holidays and great sales bring out the crazy people

I went out today with the two kids by my self to the mall......WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING!

Ryan had to work so I just thought I would stop by the mall and check out the sales. Well the sales were awesome but the crowds of people where awful! I actually couldn't buy anything because of the lines and crazy people.

It always shocks me how rude humans can be when they are part of a big crowd. Silver got pushed around a bit.

It didn't take me long to deside to get the heck out of there. As I was putting on all the layers of clothes our frosty winters call for on the kids and myself I started talking to a lady sitting on the bench right beside me. She had a little baby in her arms. She told me that she had bought a comforter from walmart and a few other things. Her baby was getting upset and while she was comforting him some ASS stole the comforter she had just bought! Hello!

Other than that our christmas was AWESOME! We finally got Silver a drum kit. He totally loves it. Trintiy loves to play it too. Actually she is rockin out right now. Funny thing is that the noise doesn't bother us.

Have a great rest of the Holiday season!

true heart

I want to be a woman with strong moral integrity and wisdom.

When I was first saved I used to pray everyday that Jesus would renew my mind and pour in wisdom. For at least a year straight almost everyday that was my prayer.

It was truly amazing how God answered that prayer. My mind was foggy from drug use and God cleared it up completely. The worldly wisdom I had attained was garbage, the Lord granted me some true wisdom and understanding.

I was just reading a bit of 'Ruth' and it is making me think of how awesome it can be to have a trust worthy friend around. Even if they say something that seems a little nuts or you don't quite get it you can still have trust in them because of what they have shown you in the past.

Like the relationship between Ruth and her mother-in-law. Total trust!

Sometimes Jesus will tell me to do something, and I think he's a little crazy. But then I take a second to think, and realize that I can trust him completely. He loves me and would not ask something of me that I could not handle. He is never leaving me.

Jesus isn't nuts he's strong, trustworthy, and able. He knows exactly who I am and how to reach me. Ahhhhh.......that's comforting.

Still sick

So just when we thought it was all over sickness strikes again.

.Silver woke us up at about 1:00am screaming. He had puke all over himself and his bed, ya I know you wanted to know that. Anyway, it was horrible. Then he stayed up for hours and hours. Somehow he still managed to wake up this morning at 7:30. help

Trinity then expressed herself in her diaper and then all over my blanket. I just feel a little crazy today. Ryan is at work until 4:oo. I am just hoping I make it till then :)

back in action...well sort of

After a crap day yesterday I am feeling much better today. Although Silver woke up today with a really strange rash on his face and a temperature. He is totally not himself. We will be taking him in to the doctor.

So there's this show on the Foodnetwork (one of my favorite stations), called 'The thirsty traveler'. The host travels the world trying all different kinds of beverages. Champaine, wine, beer, whatever you name it he drinks it. What an awesome job! Could you imagine being paid to do something like that?

What is my dream job???? hummmm.......I have a couple. A movie star who is famous but not too famous. One who makes good money and gets great parts but doesn't get chased around by photographers.

A photograher who travels and takes amazingly creative photos.

Or and arts pastor which to me would mean things like, being the person people come to when they have ideas or visions but need help seeing them actually happen. Keeping the arts totally alive and well in the church and out of the church for the glory of God. That would be amazing.

What are your dream jobs?

my turn

so last night it started for me. I got home from work feeling a little off and started puking a few hours later.

I suppose I was bound to get it. Now I am just waiting for Ryans turn to come. He is certain he won't get it but I imagine he will. Well I feel like crap so I will go. I need to rest up for my classes tomorrow.

again

So now Silver is puking. Poor little thing. It's so sad to see a little kid so sick. He finally just fell asleep.

I am actually feeling a little 'off' myself today. I seriously hope I do not start throwing up. That's all I have to say I am tired.

Puke

So at about 5:00am Trinity started throwing -up. I have no idea why. She has no fever and seems totally fine otherwise. She just keeps releasing her stomach contents. Poor kid.

Yesterday I decided to buy some Christmas decorations. Ryan and I have been slowly building up our supply. But because we aren't spending much on our kids this year (they will get lots of presents from grandparents and stuff), I bought garland, stuff to make a wreath, a pointsetta, and some REALLY cheap Christmas dishes from superstore. I want this year to be really Christmasy !

Our trip was really great. The kids had tons of fun. Because we stayed at the hotel in the mall we didn't go out side the whole time. It was weird. Everything we needed was in the mall so we just hung out there.

Get this we took a limo from our hotel to the airport. It was this huge totally posh limo. It was actually cheaper to take that then the shuttle. So we opted for the limo. It was a cool ending to a great trip!

vacation baby!

Here I am in Edmonton, staying at a great hotel right in west edmonton mall. Ryan's whole family is here and things are going great.

Silver is having a blast playing with his cousins and Ryan and I are enjoying our time away from school and work. There is something to be said about vacations. Even the shortest little get away can rejuvenate a person.

Can you believe it's only 2 weeks till Christmas! CRAP Trinity just spilled soya sauce on my jeans.....gotta go clean up.

Hey Dancer

One of our main desires as a dance group is to see the people set free. To receive FREEDOM in any way. I feel that that is happening already by the grace of God.

I want to know who wants to dance. If you've taken classes or not, if you dance alone in your room, or just in your head. I don't care and neither does the Lord.

We have another piece in the works that involves ALOT of people. The only requirements are, for women - to be willing to wear a wedding dress or some other fancy WHITE dress or clothes. For men - to be willing to wear a nice white shirt.

It's about the True Bride of Christ, and what that really looks like (including men). All different intimate relationships with God. My hope is that it will really show people not to be afraid of intimacy with Jesus, and how that is SO different from what our world calls intimacy.

We are thinking of having this ready for January/Febuary.

If you're in(or have questions) email me. We will start practing right after the holidays. r.a.hayes@shaw.ca

Tests

Got my test results back. Looks like something is up with one of my kidneys. They don't really know for sure so they want to send me for a CT scan. I can't tell you how just finding SOMETHING out has made a difference. I am not as edgy, or touchy. I now know that I'm not just crazy. After a busy, stress filled, emotional weekend it was great to hear my results.

My last doctor just made me feel like such an idiot. After she basically laughed at me I figured it was time to move on. The doc I have now is great.

So long story short I would appreciate your prayers about getting this CT scan. The sooner the better of course.

another birthday?????

Today is Silver's real birthday. 3 years old! Three years ago today I was in labour with this little turkey. Two days of labour that is!!! He was actually born at 11:56pm, almost the 2nd of december.

I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 11:40 and thought to myself. This kid is going to be born TODAY! I just couldn't stand the thought of going through days of labour and him being born just after midnight. It doesn't seem like a big deal now but at the time I was determind to get him out!

On another note. I am not doing any dishes today. I just refuse to. I had a really hard day yesterday, bringing the kids to the doctor to get some shots. I was only able to do one load of dishes so now there is a huge stack, and so what. Let it remain there until Ryan or myself actually have the strength to dig in and start washing. Or when we need a fork.
