Lots going on

My Dearest Reader
It's been a few days since I have written and a few things have happened. First, the kids Gramma and Great Gramma (on Ryan's side) sent us a box FULL of new clothes for the kids! It was so amazing. The kids have new snow suits and all kinds of clothes. What a huge blessing.

Next I went to the Doc for my results. It seems they found some markings on parts of my bowels. Also there is something that needs more investigation and I have another test to look at parts of my bowels in Feb. But at least I know it's not ovarian cancer or a big tumor, and at least I know it's not just stress (eventhough I'm sure it played a part). It looks like this is something I just have to live with until I die. The doc says there will be good years and bad years. I just have to learn to manage. I'm not sad about this at all. It could be so much worse, I'm actually pretty happy to have some answers.

I got home from the doc and when I stepped in the door I was greeted with a huge pile of puke. Silver had just thrown up all over the kitchen floor. The poor little guy. Ryan also started to feel sick so he was out of it. Me and Trinity hung out while they slept. I am praying that Trinity or I do not catch what they have.

Oh yah I also think I know why I have constant nasal drip and I get short of breath and dizzy. I almost forgot that I had some asthma problems when I was a teenager. I lost my puffers about 10 years ago and just never got new ones. I think it's acting up again. So I need to get some new puffers and see if that helps. I'm quite sure it will.

This post is too long. I have more to say so maybe I will write you again tomorrow:)

car, worship, friends

Our car was broken into again. This sucks for many reasons but at least the car wasn't stolen. We had to borrow some money to get the window fixed (which is a bummer), but at least we have people we can borrow from. Wednesday is our busiest day of the week and having the use of our car is very important. So this makes today quite a bit harder on all of us but we will survive. Our window will be fixed tomorrow yee-haw!

Today at Breathe Kendra and I did some stuff on worship, dance, and creativity. There are so many things I want to share with people. I long to see people released to be creative and tell people about all the cool things they can do to express themselves. There is a never ending world of inspiration out there and I love clicking into it. I am inspired to paint a very colourful picture. Maybe tonight after dance.

We got to see Silver in his creative movement class last week. Trinity was there too and does also take the class but that day she was not interested in joining. Here are some cool pictures we got. I also got some really cute video. Too bad I can't post that.

I was just spending some relaxing time checking out some blogs. I almost commented on about 4 blogs. But everytime I started to comment I just couldn't Finish. Subjects like, how to inspire Christian youth, parenting techniques, and books. There where more but I don't remember right now. I have learned to be very careful when commenting on blogs. So much can be misunderstood. It's almost impossible to portray tone with the written word. One person may write something and the reader can misunderstand the tone and then the back and forth comment after comment happens. Which can end in everyone being hurt or offended. Why am I taking about this? I m not totally sure. I guess it's because I often don't comment for fear of being misunderstood. O.K I just realized how pointless even thinking of this is. There are more important things in life.

So I will talk about some of my thoughts on inspiring Christian youth. First I think that the church (being the entire body of Christ) doesn't give youth enough credit. At times I think they can be treated like children when they really are not. They don't need more programs or fun funky worship meetings. Don't get me wrong I LOVE those things and I don't think we need to get rid of them. I just think it would be nice to see more youth focused on different things.

When I try to think of ways to help youth to draw closer to God I think of ways that help ME draw closer to God. Seeing the power of Jesus change peoples lives draws me in. Leading someone to the Lord, blessing people, being blessed, praying for someone, being prayed for. Things like that. When I was a teenager (and even now) I learned a lot from watching others. I need to remember more that people (young people more importantly) are watching me, watching all of us. We teach them so many things just in what we do, and say.

I have actually lost my thought. I had more to say but I'm tired. Good night.

Boots

I need to buy some boots. I haven't owned a pair of boots for years and years and years. Probably 15 years.......even more. Anyway, after my crap snow day experience I decided that I require some hardcore boots. Ryan has boots, Silver and Trinity too. It's my turn.

I actually have a hard time buying stuff for myself. I love to shop for the kids and Ryan. I love to buy stuff that I know people will like. Blessing people with even the simplest little things is so fun. But when it comes to buying for me, even if it's something I need like boots, that's hard. I just need to keep remembering how cold and wet my feet where while I was walking through the snow on Tuesday.

Today we went to see Silver and Trinity in their dance class. Silver cried the whole way there. I had to convince him to join the class. It was great when he finally jumped in. It was a really good class! Trinity wouldn't join in today, boo hoo. We got some great video and pictures that I know the grandparents will love.

I should get to bed. I need to plan Silver's birthday. It's coming up quickly. This year it will be a space party. I found a great rocketship cake to make that I know Silver will think is super cool. Anyway, good night.

p.s The Johnny Cash film 'Walk the Line' opens tomorrow night. I wish I was going. I love Johnny!

The Bus

Because of the crazy snow fall I had to take the bus to work this morning. I haven't taken a bus by myself since I was like 18. I walked through 2 feet of snow down my street and got very wet. Two things I dislike most in this world are, being wet, and being cold. So today was pretty crap. I had to walk from Portage Place to the Forks in the blowing knee deep snow. Oh yah and I have another cold. I guess what I'm trying to say is BOO-HOO!

My Dad and two of my sisters, Kellie and Heather (links to their blogs on the side bar) came to visit us this past weekend. It was a short trip but pretty sweet. It was so nice to have someone visit us. It's been a long while since we had guests. Thanks for coming!

I am going to relax, have a yummy dinner, put the little monkeys to bed and have a cup of hot chocolate. Good evening.

I could have danced all night :) (I love My Fair Lady)

So Saturday night was a great time! The dance/drama we did went really well. We all knew our parts pretty good and we had a chance to practice just before we went on stage. I had a great time working with "the girls" and "the guys". There is something very cool about getting a group of people together who all work toward the same thing. Everyone had amazing ideas. Thanks Jason for bringing the song and idea to us.

Worship was very cool. I have to say I'm a sucker for the loops that David uses. It was just a total blast!

My favorite part of this weekend was meeting Sheri M for coffee at Starbucks. I love that chic. It's always nice to talk with her. I remember being excited to finally live in the same city as her when we first moved to Winnipeg. But of course a few months later she moved :p Oh well. Thanks for hangin with me Sheri. It was great.

God bless WCV. It's so crazy actually that I have a home church. This is the longest I have been part of a church. I was only in Kamloops 4 years and right after I started living for God I left Thunder Bay and was never really a major part of the church there. So what I'm saying is, this is a very cool new experience for me. I'm tired.

awesome

www.http://crystalmm.blogspot.com/
This is a blog that I have been going to for about 6 months or so. She has stopped writing and only been taking pictures of the sky for about 2 months now. The images and colours are amazing. Some of the photos made my mouth hang open from the beauty. You should do yourself a favor and check it out. It makes me think about how crazy life can get down here on the earth and how we can get so caught up in things that really in the long run don't matter, but the sky is always there, always changing, it's awesome and powerful. God speaks through the beauty of his creation. I try to look up and just admire what he has painted in the sky. It, in some way helps keep me grounded.

Well that's done

Everything went well yesterday. I actually got in about an hour earlier than I thought and felt much better after than I thought I would. There was no throwing up this time.

I was pretty nervous. Being put under and cut open (even if they are only small cuts) is scary. I shut out most of the world for the past day or so. I just needed to think of nothing but me, no dance, no laundry, no work.....NOTHING! It was actually hard but felt great. I am in some pain but not too bad.

I do need some miracle healing for this coming weekend. David is one of my favorite worship leaders to work with (and NO it's not because he is DAVID RUIS).It's because I have always totally connected with his style and method of worship. Plus he is always SUPER supportive of dance! Which means as a dancer I can just be and dance. No worries about where he's going and if he just wants us to get off the stage. Also the piece we have been working on is totally amazing! I think it's one of the best things we have done so far. I want to be in tip top shape for it.

Well it's time for me to enter the world again and make some phone call. Thanks everyone who prayed.....keep it coming!
